So, we think you should avoid inferior systems that shoot below 600 TVL -- That's why we don't carry them. Ours are REALLY the TVL they say they are (unlike what you get on eBay). We also use 1/3" SONY Effio-E Chips (not CMOS). For example, you would need a 600TVL CMOS to get the clarity of a 480TVL Sony Effio-E - so CMOS is way lower quality and clarity.
